Outbound Hotels is an innovative and creative hospitality brand redefining how modern travelers access and experience extraordinary natural destinations. Built on the belief that connecting with the outdoors shouldn't mean compromising on design, comfort, or community, Outbound is deeply committed to the places and people it serves. They seek to create a distinctive harmony between the properties, surrounding environment, and the communities that shape them meaning those who work within and alongside Outbound must have an eye for unique yet cohesive brand design and storytelling across different terrains.

Working closely with executive leadership, Lizi Lias orchestrated the launch of the Outbound brand in California, anchored by the strategic rebrand of Outbound Mammoth from its previous identity. The launch was brought to life through a meticulously planned intimate concert experience featuring Andrew Bird and Stelth Ulvang of the Lumineers, a defining cultural moment that set the tone for the brand's identity and values. Partnerships with local vendors and secured sponsorships were established to support and sustain the event financially.

On-property, a suite of sophisticated guest experience enhancements were introduced from complimentary s'mores packages and compendium check-in newspapers to branded key cards, in-room amenities, robes, and merchandise, creating cohesive, tactile touch points that reflect the Outbound ethos seamlessly throughout every experience of the stay.

Beyond the launch, a comprehensive events and experiences program was pioneered spanning weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual touchpoints including live music, karaoke, trivia nights, and curated packages with local partners designed to deepen guest connection to the communities surrounding each property. Media and influencer tours were spearheaded to elevate brand visibility, while social media content was directed, produced, and managed to maintain a professional and authentic brand presence (which is the origin story of THM, where Bx photographed across different Outbound properties, National Parks, and the outdoor communities they were set within leading to the meeting of Lizi and Bx and the mind meld that evolved into tïme-heïst). Data across channels was systematically analyzed to inform strategic initiatives aligned with core brand pillars, ensuring every decision was grounded in performance and purpose.
